Job Summary:
The Channel Marketing Manager EGO is responsible for driving profitable share growth across served markets through the development of channel penetration and harmonization strategies. This includes go-to-market channel strategy, sales, merchandising, and digital strategies across the strategic dealer channel. The role supports top-line sales targets and bottom-line profitability through effective utilization of working capital. This is a highly visible, fast-paced opportunity to influence channel strategy, partner with cross-functional leaders, and help shape initiatives that support continued growth within a dynamic and evolving business.
Brand Responsibility: EGO & EGO Commercial
Channel Responsibility: Key Strategic Dealer & National Distributor Accounts along with select strategic 3P marketplace customers.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing & Assortment Planning
  • Provide leadership in long-term strategic planning for assigned channels, customers, and business priorities.
  • Enable and develop go-to-market channel strategies, including key collateral, programs, and assigned channel initiatives.
  • Lead the development and execution of cross-functional business plans and key objectives for assigned channels and customers.
  • Lead brand strategy and position within assigned customers and channels.
  • Risk and opportunity planning and support.
  • Provide thought leadership for emerging channel opportunities that support long-term growth and business evolution.
  • Identify and support opportunities to strengthen channel performance, expand customer engagement, and improve market execution.

Channel & Customer Management
  • Identification and understanding of key channel partner objectives, behaviors, and strategies.
  • Lead customer line review, business review, seasonal review strategies and development.
  • Support National & Customer specific promotional planning, sales lift analysis and profitability expectations for dedicated channels and customers

Channel New Product Launch Planning & Execution
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive new product commercialization plan for key strategic customers in collaboration with brand, sales, product and the customer.
  • Lead strategy development and execution of channel specific new product launch materials, assets and programs.

Co-Marketing & Merchandising
  • Lead and develop fully integrated co-marketing campaign planning and execution with integrated media team, sales, customers and key channel partners.
  • Lead strategy, development and execution of compelling customers or channel specific sales & POP materials across all mediums.
  • Support budget management of customer and/or channel specific co-marketing & channel marketing budgets and activities in collaboration with sales & media team

Required Education and Experience:
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years of proven success as a channel manager, account manager, or other related experience.
  • Experience in building and successfully executing product pricing strategies within the retail environment
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business environment with shifting priorities and growth-oriented initiatives.
  • Experience with sales performance metrics reporting and analytics
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Fluency in key business measures - sales, gross margin, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
  • Salesforce experience a plus
  • Manage relationships and seller tactics with 3P approved marketplace account managers
  • The salary range for this position is $110k to $120k. Offers are generally made between this range depending on skills, experience, and internal equity. In some cases, highly qualified candidates may receive an offer outside of the posted range.

Travel:
This position requires up to 25% travel. International travel may be required on occasion.
