Job description

AutoDot is looking for a Car Sales Associate to cover multiple tasks at our "no haggle-no hassle" used car store located in Sykesville, MD. This position is a combination of multiple tasks where we have some requirements:

1) Proven customer service skills

2) Understanding of domestic and foreign vehicles, trucks and SUVs

3) Availability of early mornings and late evenings when needed

4) Availability on Saturdays

5) Punctuality and detail orientation

6) Ability to handle stressful situations and busy work environment

7) Ability to drive both manual transmission and automatic vehicles, good parking skills.

8) Teamwork and excellent communication skills

We are looking for teammates that can provide exceptional customer service to our customers and vendors. Communicating effectively both in-person and over the phone/internet is a must for satisfactory customer experience. Car Sales Associate will be facilitating multiple tasks, including steps of the sale, such as the vehicle appraisal process, assisting test drives, and working on finance applications. They have to read, collect, and transcribe data in order to complete accurate paperwork. Position requires maintaining the sales area, and offices, vehicle lot and detail garage. Greeting customers, actively responding phone calls and emails, opening and closing store, assisting customers with questions on tag and title information, preparing MVA documents and titles, interacting with other employees and vendors, handling accounts payable functions, entering bills as needed, tendering cash transactions, preparing and making bank deposits as needed are some of the daily activities.

No prior car sales experience is needed, but customer service experience is required. Mechanical experience is a plus. Self motivation and quick decision making skills are important to this role.

Candidates must have valid driver license, and able to use both manual and automatic vehicles.
