Associate Director - Campaign Strategy

Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Campaign Strategy Associate Director to lead the development and orchestration of full-funnel, integrated marketing campaigns across owned, earned, and paid media channels.

This role is responsible for driving audience engagement, pipeline growth, and revenue impact through campaign strategy, cross-channel integration, and data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate combines strong campaign leadership with working fluency in marketing automation (HubSpot) and paid media (LinkedIn and Google Ads)-with a focus on strategy, orchestration, execution and performance optimization. This is an individual contributor role.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Planning

  • Own end-to-end campaign strategy, including audience segmentation, journey design, and channel mix
  • Develop integrated campaign plans aligned with business goals, product priorities, and target personas
  • Lead account-based marketing (ABM) campaign design, including alignment of account lists across marketing and sales
  • Partner with Growth, Performance Marketing, Content, and Sales to ensure coordinated execution

Campaign Orchestration & Execution

  • Translate campaign strategy into clear briefs, asset plans, and activation timelines
  • Execute across email, web, paid media, social, and events
  • Ensure campaigns are cohesive across all touchpoints, including digital and sales engagement
  • Lead stakeholder alignment and campaign governance using project management best practices

Marketing Automation (HubSpot)

  • Design and oversee multi-touch nurture programs and campaign workflows in HubSpot
  • Leverage lifecycle stages, segmentation, and lead scoring to drive engagement and conversion
  • Ensure campaigns are properly structured for tracking, attribution, and reporting
  • Partner with Marketing Operations for technical configuration, integrations, and data model management

Paid Media Strategy (LinkedIn and Google)

  • Define the role of paid media within each campaign, including budget allocation, channel mix, and audience strategy
  • Lead LinkedIn campaign strategy, including:
  • Company and persona targeting (ABM alignment)
  • Format selection (lead gen forms, video, document ads, etc.)
  • Message alignment with campaign stages
  • Guide Google Ads strategy, including:
  • High-intent search capture
  • Retargeting strategy
  • Funnel alignment
  • Partner with internal teams or agencies to execute campaigns and optimize performance

Measurement and Optimization

  • Establish reporting frameworks across HubSpot, CRM (Dynamics), and paid media platforms
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable optimization recommendations
  • Present insights to stakeholders, including marketing and sales leadership

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B campaign strategy, demand generation, or integrated marketing
  • Proven ability to lead cross-channel, full-funnel campaigns from strategy through execution
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • HubSpot (or similar MAP) for campaign and nurture design
  • Paid media channels, especially LinkedIn and Google Ads
  • Experience partnering with sales and aligning campaigns to pipeline outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into strategic decisions
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
