MEDICATION ASSOCIATE

About the Role

The Medication Associate supports resident care by assisting with daily activities and safely administering medications in accordance with community policy and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents as directed and document administration accurately.
  • Observe and report changes in resident condition to Wellness leadership.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
  • Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards.
  • Maintain medication carts, storage, and supplies in a clean and secure manner.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current medication administration certification/registration as required by state guidelines.
  • Experience in assisted living, memory care, or related care setting preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.
Physical Requirements

Ability to assist residents with mobility and personal care, stand and walk for extended periods, and lift or transfer up to 50 pounds.
