Job Description
CrossLead's Business Development Manager will work with our Growth, Marketing, Finance, and Strategy Teams to develop a sales pipeline, execute sales, and increase CrossLead's visibility globally. They will be responsible for understanding our customers and prospects needs' and developing the appropriate solution and assessment.
We are looking for a high-energy, driven professional with sound business acumen, strong technical aptitude and natural sales instincts to join and accelerate our Business Development team. Ideal candidates should be eager to advance in our organization by demonstrating their ability to be tenacious self-starters. CrossLead offers a fast-paced, high-growth, innovative startup environment where you will be provided with the tools, resources, and leadership opportunities and support to sell our application solutions.
As a Business Development Manager, you will gain experience interacting with clients of all levels, in a variety of industries and across a broad geographical area.
Impact & Responsibilities
  • Generate new business opportunities and maintain a strong sales pipeline to fuel our company growth and success
  • Achieve quarterly quotas of qualified opportunities and closed business
  • Respond to and qualify incoming web and phone inquiries regarding CrossLead solutions
  • Create a great first impression to our prospects and clients by providing them with a world class experience
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase client interest in CrossLead solutions
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position CrossLead in the enterprise leadership solution marketplace
  • Sell to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending emails, strategic calling)
  • Conduct high level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts
  • Frequent travel may be required with this position
  • Provide support for marketing events and activities

Qualifications
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment
  • CRM experience
  • Enterprise prospecting experience
  • Experience being held to sales quotas and metrics
  • Experience selling to "C" level executives
  • Experience in a high-growth startup
  • Successful business-to-business software sales experience to mid- to large-enterprise corporations
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Self-starter attitude, ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Prior experience managing a sales team
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University
  • 2 - 4 years of full-time enterprise software sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
