Job description

About Radicle Development Center

Radicle Development Center is an engineering and fabrication firm focused on helping early-stage and scaling hardware companies move from lab-scale concepts to real pilot-scale systems. We work with teams in advanced energy, space, robotics and industrial technology where timelines are tight, requirements evolve quickly and execution bandwidth is critical. Our model is hands-on and fast-moving, combining design, fabrication, assembly and system integration under one roof. We operate as a flexible supplement to internal engineering teams during their most execution-constrained phases.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, curious and proactive early-career professional to support our business development and operational workflows during a major growth phase. This is not a traditional sales role. Instead, this position focuses on maintaining momentum across outreach, follow-ups, research and internal tracking systems while working directly with company leadership on strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced, startup-like environment and excited by the intersection of advanced hardware, manufacturing and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track and maintain business development pipelines, contacts and follow-ups across conferences, cold outreach and inbound leads
  • Conduct targeted research on prospective clients in sectors such as advanced manufacturing, energy, space and robotics
  • Prepare briefing packets and background research to support leadership outreach
  • Draft and organize follow-up communications (email, LinkedIn, outreach tracking)
  • Supplement leadership client outreach efforts, including targeted phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn communication, with increasing ownership over time
  • Maintain internal CRM-style tracking systems and reporting dashboards
  • Support preparation of proposals, capability overviews and client materials
  • Assist with light operational and administrative workflows (invoicing coordination, documentation, internal organization)
  • Occasionally support hands-on fabrication tasks to stay integrated with the team’s hardware-focused work environment

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Recent graduate or early-career professional (0-3 years experience)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication and research ability
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-moving startup environment
  • Interest in hardware, engineering, manufacturing, or emerging technologies
  • Self-starter who takes initiative without requiring constant direction
  • Not afraid to wear multiple hats and contribute across functions

Why Join Radicle

  • Direct exposure to real-world hardware innovation and pilot-scale system development
  • High ownership and visibility in a growing, mission-driven organization
  • Opportunity to grow quickly into strategic operations, business development or technical program roles
  • Hands-on startup environment where your work has immediate impact

This position requires use of information subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency. The U.S. export control regulations define a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), and certain categories of Asylees and Refugees.
