Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Billing Associate to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely processing of charges, payments, and adjustments, contributing to the smooth financial operations of our organization. Key Responsibilities:

- Post charges, payments, and adjustments accurately into the billing system

- Generate electronic or paper claims for submission to facilities, patients, and insurance companies

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to claims, including denials and rejections

- Ensure compliance with billing policies and insurance requirements

- Maintain detailed records of billing activities and communications

- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and improve processes

Education:

Associate must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.  Associate must have one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be able to stand, walk, use hands or fingers, reach with hand and arms, frequently throughout the workday.
