Contract Administrator II

Location: Rochester, NY (Onsite)
Pay Range: $18.00–$20.00/hour
Type: Contract-to-Per Hire Opportunity

TES Staffing is partnering with a leading organization in Rochester, NY to hire a Contract Administrator II to support complex contract billing operations and customer account administration. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in contract support, invoicing, billing analysis, or customer account management who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

The Contract Administrator II will play a key role in managing contract billing data, resolving billing discrepancies, supporting renewals and amendments, and collaborating across internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing for assigned client accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Support assigned contract billing accounts and review contract documentation for accurate system setup and maintenance
  • Maintain and update contract billing data including customer information, pricing, billing cycles, and contract terms
  • Resolve complex billing discrepancies, rebill adjustments, renewals, cancellations, and contract-related issues
  • Review and process amendments and supplements to ensure accurate updates within multiple operating systems
  • Run, analyze, and reconcile monthly reports to identify discrepancies and resolve issues proactively
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external clients regarding account updates and contract changes
  • Participate in client calls and meetings as needed to support contract administration functions and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Analyze billing and renewal reports against contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Administer meter read and billing service level requirements for assigned accounts
  • Develop and monitor performance reporting to identify trends and support operational improvements
  • Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a combination of:
    • Contract administration/support
    • Billing and invoicing
    • Customer service
    • Reporting and account analysis
  • Strong understanding of contract setup, invoicing processes, meter collections, and billing transactions
  • Experience handling complex billing scenarios and problem resolution
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple systems and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both clients and internal teams
  • Self-motivated with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite preferred, including Excel experience
