The Position: The Temporary Retail Sales Associate I is responsible for providing a complete shopping experience for King Arthur customers, enthusiastically delivering great service, engaging, educating, and inspiring them in support of the King Arthur brand and mission. The individual in this role works under direct supervision and as an integral part of a customer focused team.
The Pay: Starting at $19.29 per hour worked. Pay commensurate with experience.
The Benefits: As a temporary team member, you will be eligible for medical only benefits after three months and the ability to participate in the company's 401(k) program immediately. You will also receive generous discounts in our retail store, including free flour each month.
The Location: Denver, CO; onsite daily.
The Schedule: Temporary part-time positions available, between 15-25 hours per week. This assignment has an expected end date of January 2027. Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greets and acknowledges customers as they enter the retail store
  • Provides a positive experience for each customer specific to their needs
  • Assists customers in locating merchandise
  • Supports the team in meeting monthly sales goals
  • Processes sales transactions accurately at the registers
  • Maintains the store's appearance by straightening, cleaning, replacing signage
  • Restocks product using proper inventory rotation
  • Adheres to all safely, food and workplace regulations, procedures, and policies
  • Communicates consistently and clearly with their retail team, shift leads, and managers
  • Reports to work on time or notifies the lead in charge by email and phone in advance of absence or tardiness
  • Performs additional tasks and responsibilities, as necessary
