Job Description:
The Automotive Customer Service Representative (CSR) manages end-to-end order execution for automotive customers. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customer orders, coordinating closely with Sales, Procurement, Production, Expediting, Finance, and Logistics to ensure accurate order entry, proactive issue resolution, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter and manage customer part orders in SAP, validating specifications, quantities, and shipping requirements.
  • Align customer demand with mill lead times, campaign schedules, inventory availability, and shipping constraints.
  • Proactively resolve order issues related to forecasts, production delays, inventory, or transportation.
  • Manage inventory release and delivery execution to meet customer requirements and commitments.
  • Monitor and update customer forecast changes in SAP and communicate impacts internally.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for order status, delivery performance, and issue resolution.
  • Provide required quality, production, shipping, and customs documentation to customers.
  • Perform root cause analysis and support explanations for KPI misses to leadership.
