ABOUT THE POSITION:

As a Partner in Audit specializing in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction, you will be responsible for leading and managing audit engagements for clients within the AEC group. You will leverage your financial acumen, industry knowledge, and leadership skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality audit services. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, effective client communication, and staying abreast of industry trends and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage audit engagements for Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) clients, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
  • Oversee and review audit work papers, financial statements, and related reports.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor in financial matters.
  • Understand clients' business objectives and provide insights to improve financial performance.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to audit teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Collaborate with other partners and managers to foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Identify and assess risks associated with AEC engagements, developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Ensure compliance with auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and firm policies.
  • Actively participate in business development activities, including client acquisition and relationship building.
  • Identify opportunities for expanding services to existing clients and pursuing new business opportunities within the AEC group.
  • Maintain a commitment to quality and excellence in audit services.
  • Conduct reviews of audit work papers and reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to professional standards.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA required. 

Experience:

  • 12+ years of extensive experience in auditing with a focus on Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) clients.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines simultaneously.

Compensation:

  • Competitive annual salary in the range of $250,000 to $500,000+, based on individual's experience level.
