Exciting Audit Partner opportunity for a fast growing CPA firm in Orange County, heavy SEC experience required
Job Description:
  • Execute the day-to-day activities of audit engagements of various clients, including Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants and private companies
  • Identify, resolve and communicate accounting and auditing matters
  • Interact with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient
  • Supervise audit partners, managers and senior accountants on engagements
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and Managing Partner
  • Capable of transferring or developing and administering a $9.0MM to 10.0MM audit book of business managed with 3 other audit partners

REQUIREMENTS:
  • BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university with CPA designation
  • 5+ years in management experience
  • 15 to 20+ years of current and/or recent audit experience in public accounting and SEC experience
  • Inspirational and courageous leader
  • Applied and in depth working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), SOX and accounting procedures
  • Ability to meet challenging client requirements, deadlines, provide services, and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities
  • Develop staff seniors, managers and partners personnel, execute business plans and run a day to day profitable business, which includes managing collections, developing new business and increasing revenues
  • Ensuring quality control systems and audit quality
  • Exceptional organizational, communications and presentations (verbal and written) skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel

SKILLS:
Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and Internet Research. Computer skills are required.
Must be proficient in Pfx Prosystem Engagement or other related audit software
