Job description

JOB SUMMARY:
The Associate Project Coordinator processes small project orders, supports Midmark Delivery services and could be assigned dedicated sales territories. This role supports project coordinators by creating and maintaining project documentation, managing project-related inboxes, and supporting order processing activities. This role works closely with trades and internal partners to process orders, coordinate delivery, and support customers. This project coordination role focuses on learning and applying basic project coordination skills and assisting more experienced team members to develop a strong understanding of Midmark's products, services and project processes.

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Creates and maintains project folders and related documentation.
  • Manages departmental email inboxes and project-related folders.
  • Obtains freight quotes in support of project orders.
  • Enters and processes small project orders in applicable systems.
  • Processes MDS Essential orders as assigned.
  • Provides administrative support to Project Coordinators and project teams.
  • Provides phone coverage for departmental call centers.
  • Communicates product information via email, phone, and virtual.

SECONDARY DUTIES:

  • Runs departmental reports as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED and 0-2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPETENCY and/or SKILL:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Basic proficiency with Oracle, Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and drawing software (CET)

  • Basic knowledge of Midmark products

  • Basic logistical knowledge

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
