Title: Transformation Project Coordinator
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 1 year with possible extension
 
Must Haves:
  • 3+ years of project coordination, process improvement, operations, marketing, technology, or business support experience

  • Familiarity with Agile concepts or willingness to learn Agile ways of working.
Role Summary/Purpose:
  • The Transformation Project Coordinator supports the coordination and execution of key business projects focused on Artificial Intelligence, Power Automate, Machine Learning, and automation initiatives that improve identified process areas, reduce cycle time, and enhance user experiences.
  • This role assists with project planning, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and implementation support for existing workstreams and approved business-critical initiatives.
  • Reporting to the VP, Transformation AI and Technology Manager, the Associate Project Coordinator will work closely with project leads, business partners, and Marketing stakeholders to support project execution.
  • Responsibilities include helping maintain project plans, tracking milestones and risks, preparing meeting materials, documenting decisions and action items, and escalating issues when guidance or support is needed.
  • This role works in a matrixed environment with Marketing and SYF team members and is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is organized, curious about technology, comfortable learning new tools, and able to adapt as priorities evolve.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Support project leads with coordination of business process, technology, and automation initiatives.
  • Assist with gathering project requirements, preparing meeting agendas, capturing notes, and tracking follow-ups.
  • Build foundational knowledge of automation tools, AI capabilities, Power Automate, and machine learning concepts.
  • Maintain project documentation, milestone trackers, risk logs, and action item lists.
  • Communicate project status updates clearly to team members and stakeholders.
  • Identify potential project impediments and escalate to project leadership for guidance.
  • Support coordination across business, technology, and external partner groups as needed.
  • Assist with testing, implementation readiness, training materials, and adoption support for automation solutions.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a high school diploma/GED and 3 years of relevant work experience in project coordination, process improvement, operations, technology support, or a related field will be accepted.
  • 3+ years of project coordination, process improvement, operations, marketing, technology, or business support experience.
  • Interest in technology, automation, AI, or process improvement.
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to summarize updates, document decisions, and follow up on action items.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Exposure to financial services, marketing operations, technology delivery, or business transformation.
  • Experience supporting projects in a matrixed or cross-functional environment.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Teams, project tracking tools, or collaboration platforms.
