Job Description:

Position Summary

Epiq is seeking an Associate Project Manager (APM) to support the delivery of complex client-facing projects within our Class Action and Remediation practice. This role partners closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to coordinate project execution, manage client communications, track deliverables, and help ensure successful outcomes across multiple concurrent engagements.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who enjoys working through ambiguity, managing complex information, and translating client objectives into actionable solutions. This role is well-suited for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, demonstrates sound judgment, and can confidently navigate both client-facing conversations and complex operational challenges.

Internally, the APM will collaborate with project managers, data analysts, software engineers, contact center leaders, claims professionals, disbursement specialists, and other operational teams to ensure projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with client expectations.


Job Responsibilities
  • Project Financial Requirements - Provide timely and accurate budget and estimate review and management, monthly revenue forecasting, and invoice review. Ensure projects remain within scope and support client communication as needed.
  • Project Coordination & Execution - Partner with Project Managers to coordinate project deliverables, timelines, stakeholder communication, and operational activities across multiple engagements.
  • Client Communication - Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and professional issue resolution.
  • Staff Development - In consultation with the Project Manager, provide guidance and support to team members to ensure work is completed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.
  • Process Improvement - Continually identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve service delivery, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Economic Objectives - Support billing, utilization, forecasting, and project profitability goals.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing - Partner with internal training teams to support onboarding, documentation, knowledge transfer, and training initiatives as needed.

The Associate Project Manager will work closely with operational stakeholders across the organization to enhance service quality, improve project outcomes, and consistently exceed client expectations. Success in this role requires collaboration, adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Required Qualifications & Characteristics
  • Project management, project coordination, client services, operations, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and work through complex business challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and develop solutions when the path forward is not clearly defined.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with experience interacting directly with clients and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence and professionalism to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.

  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Experience supporting complex client-facing projects within legal services, professional services, claims administration, financial services, remediation programs, or other highly regulated industries is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
  • PMP certification or other project management training is a plus.

The Compensation range for this role is $70,000 to $74,809.00 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus.
