Job description

Job Title: Customer Energy Management Project Coordinator I

Location: Location: Muskegon/Norton Shores or Grand Rapids, MI (Hybrid – Onsite Monday, Tuesday & Thursday)

Travel: Approximately 30% local travel


Job Summary:

We are seeking a Customer Energy Management Project Coordinator I to manage residential and commercial electric service requests, including new services and service upgrades. This customer-facing role involves coordinating with customers, engineering, operations, permitting, design teams, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed from initial request through construction.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage 50–60 active projects simultaneously.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact via phone, email, and onsite visits.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to move projects forward.
  • Gather project scope, site information, and photos during customer visits.
  • Track project progress and maintain accurate documentation.


Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in project coordination, customer service, utility, construction, or engineering support.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required; SAP experience preferred.
  • CAD knowledge is not required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
