Description
CME Associates is currently recruiting for an Associate Engineer to join their team. If you are a hard-working, self-motivated team player, we invite you to explore a career with CME Associates.
Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting: Develop civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D).
  • Permitting and Compliance: Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Technical Reports: Create engineering reports, feasibility studies, and calculations to support project design and decision-making.
  • Field Support: Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, verify design implementation, and resolve on-site issues as needed.

Qualifications
  • Licensing: Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably in land development or municipal projects.
