JOB DESCRIPTION

Senior Financial Analyst


The primary purpose and goal of the Senior Financial Analyst is to perform a variety of Finance and Accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures established in the Finance Department. The responsibilities include assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections, and performing research and variance analysis as may be required by leadership. As a senior financial analyst, you will also be responsible for providing financial guidance and assisting with monthly closing processes.


The Senior Financial Analyst is expected to provide excellent service to coworker, customers, vendors, and the partners through effective support of financial operations.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 4-5 yearsโ€™ experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, General Ledger, and reconciliations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Experience with SQL Queries / Power BI /Jet Reports
  • MS Dynamics Business Central experience required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative teamwork skills and approach
  • Ability to work well under brief periods of pressure.
  • Ability to maintain appropriate discretion and confidentiality.
  • Highly organized to maintain contracts files.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Review and analyze financial statements and reports
  • Assist with budgeting and monthly close processes
  • Develop Financial Projections and build financial models
  • Assist in monthly close process including posting of journal entries
  • Assist with Purchasing & Rebate Analysis
  • Assist and manage new software/ERP implementations as needed.
  • Perform research and variance analysis as required
  • Assist CFO, EVP Accounting & Finance with projects/tasks as required
  • Learn and understand the key business drivers
  • Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies and relevant legal regulations
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
