Freelance Rebates Analyst Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Our client, a large manufacturing & distribution company, is looking for a Financial Operations Analyst to join their team! This will be a fully remote role role working out of the eastern time zone. The successful candidate will posses strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently in a high-volume environment, and have excellent attention to detail!

Role Overview:

• Contract Role: Ongoing temporary duration, potential for conversion but not guaranteed
• Pay: $25-30/hr W2 (No C2C or 1099)
• Schedule: Fully remote, M-F 7-4PM, 8-5PM, or 9-6PM ET

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile, research, and resolve open items on vendor statements
• Analyze vendor sales-based incentive program agreements
• Analyze rebate criteria using vendor agreements
• Investigate variances and resolve account discrepancies with suppliers or internal customers
• Request and follow up on additional documentation required from sales teams or suppliers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business concentration
• 2-3 years of related finance or accounting experience required
• Knowledge of rebate accounting is preferred
• Prior experience working with big box retailers a plus (Walmart, Home Depot, etc.)
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Experience utilizing Oracle is preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
