The candidate for this position will have a solid, and proven track record working in technology projects/programs, preferably in the Financial Industry space. We are looking for a senior level Business Analyst, with experience owning and managing the business requirements effort in a large, formal Program/project team environment.

Candidate must have exceptional communication, influencing and partnership skills are mandatory as well as the ability to work on highly complex projects or programs with minimal management supervision.

Activities:
  • The Business Analyst will work with business areas, vendors, and internal IT partners to understand project scope, and translate business requirements into technology requirements.
  • Perform thorough gap analysis, understand, compare, and document current vs target state.
  • Will participate in integration discussions with IT counterparts and stakeholders.
  • Depict desired system and data flows, document data mappings, technical requirements, and work with various stakeholders to identify enhancements, customization, or changes to each sub-system with an endโ€‘toโ€‘end system integrity and downstream impacts in mind.
  • Use appropriate diagramming and communication tools to facilitate productive conversations to reach projectโ€™s objectives.
  • Produce appropriate artifacts with thoroughness, associating systems with business purpose and functionality.
  • Support project analysis, design, build, and test phases collaborating with design, infrastructure, network, QA and various partners acting as internal SME.
  • This position requires an outgoing, motivated, confident, and ambitious individual. In addition to technical skills, it is expected that the candidate will also possess excellent customerโ€‘facing skills (both written and verbal).
Skills and Experience Required Required
  • 10+ years business analysis experience.
  • Previous Financial Institution experience.
  • Knowledge & alignment to IIBA/PMI Business Analysis best practices.
  • Prior large Program/Platform Conversion/M&A experience in banking.
  • Candidate must have proven experience in Payments โ€“ Zelle, RTP, Person to Person.
  • Stakeholder management in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent working session facilitation skills.
  • Experience working in Agile methodology with Jira/Confluence is required.
  • Vizio flowcharting and system/process/data flow diagramming experience.
Desired/Preferred
  • Business analysis accreditation preferred.
