Summary of the Billing Business Analyst

The Billing Business Analyst works directly with the customers to determine how their billing processes will work with our application. They will use knowledge in behavioral healthcare and our application to guide our customers develop best practice billing workflows. Develop training materials and provide assistance to users, helping them learn the application.

Job Functions of the Billing Business Analyst

o Build relationships with customers, conducting needs assessments to identify organizational EHR requirements.

o Map customer workflows to software.

o Confer with customers regarding software needs and develop creative solutions to customer user requirements and problems.

o Coordinate with the customer and staff for updates to the customer environment, responsible for testing the application environments, ensuring that the environment is functioning.

o Develop, document and revise new application design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards, including testing of new build designs.

o Create training materials, prepare and compile training presentations to facilitate learning and conduct training sessions with new users, helping them learn the application.

Requirements of the Billing Business Analyst

o Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or other related fields

o Experience working in the behavioral healthcare industry in a billing environment

o Knowledge of customer and personal service principles

o Complex problem solving, judgement and decision making skills

o Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred

o Excellent interpersonal skills and effective written and oral communication skills

o Strong analytical skills, problem solving abilities and sharp attention to detail

o Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize work and daily tasks

o Outstanding work ethic, drive, motivation and commitment to quality results

o Ability to travel up to 30%.
