Kleinfelder has an exciting opportunity available for HR Specialist.   This is a hybrid position, reporting to one of our Central or East Division offices 3-4 days per week. Position ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will be a proven HR Specialist who will be able to assist in a variety of HR functions and programs.  The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
  • hands-on training
  • administration around employee relations issues
  • HR system reporting (UKG Pro experience a plus)
  • general HR administration
 The role will report directly to the Central Division HR Business Partner and require coordination with managers on HR-related issues.  The candidate will participate in implementation and communication of policies, benefits and/or compensation projects and events, and may be responsible for coordinating assigned staff.  Will work under minimal supervision within specific guidelines and protocols on highly complex assignments/problems of limited scope. Education
  • Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or HR certificate preferred. 
  • Kleinfelder knowledge and applicable experience will be considered.
 Experience
  • 1 - 2 years of designated professional experience focusing on a broad range of human resources
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations for designated areas including COBRA, Section 125, ERISA, FMLA, Disability and/or Workers Compensation.
 Certification/Registration: 
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
 Other Knowledge and Skills
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems, UKG Pro experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and knowledge of company operations and products required.
  • Ability to balance competing demands.

  • Integrity & trustworthiness.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with Pay Transparency Laws. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary Range:$47,641-$87,906.
