Job description

Position Summary:

The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the Corporate Human Resources Department by coordinating recruiting, applicant management, new hire onboarding, employee training, HR administration, compliance activities, and employee engagement initiatives. This position serves as a key point of contact for applicants, new hires, employees, and managers while ensuring HR processes are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with Company policies and applicable employment laws.

Essential Functions:

• Manage the full applicant lifecycle, including job postings, applicant tracking, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and pre-employment activities.

• Coordinate and administer all aspects of the new hire onboarding process, including employment paperwork, orientation, and required onboarding tasks.

• Conduct Corporate New Hire Orientation and required corporate safety training sessions.

• Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HR records in accordance with Company policies and record retention requirements.

• Process employee data changes within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), including new hires, status changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations.

• Prepare employment-related documents including offer letters, onboarding materials, employment verifications, and other HR correspondence.

• Assist with I-9 completion, E-Verify, background screenings, drug testing, and other pre-employment requirements.

• Support benefits administration by assisting employees with enrollment materials, qualifying life events, and employee questions while coordinating with the HR Manager as needed.

• Assist with employee recognition, engagement, and corporate culture initiatives.

• Generate HR reports, metrics, and supporting documentation as requested by leadership.

• Assist with monthly HR audits, including employee files, onboarding documentation, training records, and HRIS accuracy.

• Respond to employee questions regarding Company policies, procedures, and HR programs.

• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and Company information.

• Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the Human Resources Department.

• Coordinate and track 30-, 60-, and 90-day performance review schedules, providing reminders to managers and ensuring completed evaluations are received and properly filed.

• Maintain the Company's HR Forms Site and document management system by ensuring forms, policies, and procedures remain current and readily accessible.

• Assist with OSHA recordkeeping, safety documentation, incident reporting, and maintaining required regulatory records.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience Requirements:

Minimum Education & Experience:

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources, recruiting, administrative, or office coordination experience

• Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.
