Seeking an experienced, independent Bookkeeper to manage a diverse and complex portfolio of client accounts. This role requires a professional who pairs technical accounting mastery-including full reconciliations, payroll, and fixed assets-with excellent organizational agility. Operating with minimal supervision, you will ensure high-density precision across all client ledger activities while upholding strict firm communication standards.
Core Responsibilities
Portfolio Management & Financial Accuracy
  • Comprehensive Reconciliations: Perform full monthly bank, credit card, and loan statement reconciliations, independently identifying and resolving complex transactional discrepancies.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Prepare and post standard and adjusting journal entries, maintain accurate fixed asset registers, and calculate depreciation schedules.
  • Advanced AP/AR Operations: Manage client vendor payments, oversee accounts receivable aging analysis, and execute proactive collections workflows.
  • Payroll Execution: Handle regular payroll processing cycles, guarantee exact calculations, and assist with year-end and periodic payroll tax filings.
  • Account Autonomy: Maintain timely, precise records for multiple client accounts simultaneously, executing tasks independently with minimal oversight.

Operational Oversight & Quality Control
  • Work Review: Provide quality assurance and review the transactional accounting entries of entry-level Client Data Specialists to maintain firm-wide accuracy.
