Job description

Express is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper for a busy office in the Reading area! This is your opportunity to become a part of a team with one of Berks County's top employers!!

Full Charge Bookkeeper

Pay: $28.85/hour

Benefits: Holiday and Vacation Pay, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), bonus opportunities, and more!

Shift: 1st shift, Monday through Friday, (8am-5pm)

Location: Reading, PA

Responsibilities of the Full Charge Bookkeeper:

  • Maintain and manage general ledger, and process AP and AR transactions
  • Prepare and process payroll for w-2 1099 associates
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements as well as managing month end and year end closing
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Full Charge Bookkeeper:

  • Must have at least 5 year experience as a full charge bookkeeper
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting preferred
  • Detail oriented and great problem solving skills
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel required
