We're looking for a Full-Charge Bookkeeper who genuinely loves the work.
Not just someone who can reconcile accounts and process payroll - though you'll do plenty of that. We're looking for someone who finds real satisfaction in helping small business owners understand their finances and make better decisions.
Our firm has been around for 60 years, and we're proud of that. But we're not stuck in the past. We've built a practice where bookkeepers do meaningful work, clients actually know your name, and the team looks out for each other. If you have 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience, solid QuickBooks skills, and a heart for client service - we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities
• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients - data entry, reconciliations, and reporting
• Process and manage payroll with accuracy and compliance across applicable laws
• Prepare and file sales tax returns; stay current on state and local regulations
• Maintain general ledgers, accounts receivable/payable, and month-end closings
• Generate P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
• Proactively offer financial insights to clients, supporting their clarity and success
• Collaborate with the team on due dates and project movement
Qualifications
• 3+ years as a full-charge bookkeeper or equivalent
• Strong bookkeeping, payroll & sales tax compliance knowledge
• QuickBooks proficiency (ProAdvisor certification a plus)
• Experience serving small to mid-sized businesses
• Excellent communication & time management skills
• Independent learner who adapts to change
• Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation is a plus
