Full Charge Bookkeeper

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join one of our valued client companies in the Fresno area. In this role, you will independently manage the full accounting cycle from data entry through financial statement preparation. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional ready to take ownership of a complete accounting function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections

Perform bank and credit card reconciliations on a monthly basis

Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Manage the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all journal entries

Assist with budget preparation and cash flow forecasting

Coordinate with external CPA firm during tax season and annual audits

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 3-5 years of full charge bookkeeping or general accounting experience

Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel required

Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles

Experience processing multi-state payroll is a plus

High level of accuracy and ability to meet recurring deadlines

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
