Job description

The salary range for this position is $105,000 - 125,000 DOE including bonus opportunity under the Karcher Incentive Program.

The deadline to submit applications is initially set for Monday July 27th, 2026.   However, the application period is subject to potential extensions or closure at any time without prior notice, especially once a sufficient pool of qualified applicants has been obtained.

This is how you WOW:

  • Lead & Develop: Manage and supervise the Karcher North America (KNA) GL Accounting Team, establishing individual development plans and communicating clear job expectations.
  • Financial Oversight: Oversee month-end close requirements and review/approve journal entries to ensure strong internal controls and compliance with company policies.
  • Analysis & Reporting: Perform in-depth financial statement analysis, conduct monthly balance sheet reviews, and manage year-end financial statement audits with external auditors.
  • Global Collaboration: Act as a liaison with Karcher Group Accounting and global subsidiaries on accounting matters, intercompany reconciliations, and HBII reporting packages.
  • Process Optimization: Continually streamline accounting systems and processes through continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiencies, growth, and accuracy.

  • Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting paired with approximately ten years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Technical Expertise: A strong working knowledge of US GAAP and hands-on experience navigating SAP systems.
  • Industry Background: Previous accounting experience within the manufacturing industry.
  • Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Google Sheets.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional critical thinking and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively across all levels, including executive management and global colleagues.
