MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Current CPA Certification
  • 2+ years of successful Tax Preparation, Tax Filing, Tax Return Review, Tax Planning, Business Accounting, Financial Reporting with State Tax Return and Federal Tax Return experience
  • College Degree in Finance, Accounting and/or related field of study
  • Accounting Software experience (Example: Drake, UltraTax, Intuit Pro-Connect, QuickBooks, A.T.O.M (Automated Tax Office Manager))
  • Office Software experience (Example: DocuSign, MS Suite, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word, Etc.)
  • CRM Software experience (Example: Redtail, Salesforce, Hubly, Zoho, Etc.)
  • Video Meeting Application experience (Example: Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet, etc.)
 
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
 
Putting client needs first and supporting the team process is an important part of our client's culture and at the core of everything they do. As a Certified Public Accountant / CPA you will:
 
  • Be flexible with both in-office and hybrid work schedules, accommodating business demands
  • Prepare and review and approve 1040, 1120S and 1065 Tax Forms / Filings as needed
  • Collaborate with clients and team members on income tax preparation and planning
  • Work closely with clients to ensure performance of tax planning and special projects
  • Review of completed tax forms, suggest necessary edits to team members prior to filing
  • Research and resolve tax and accounting issues as needs arise
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication, exceptional service, and effective collaboration with other financial professionals
  • Schedule and conduct Annual Tax Review and Distribution meetings with clients as needed
  • Refer existing and potential clients to the Financial Services Team as needed
  • Represent and assist clients with IRS, State or other audits as needed
  • Ensure policies and procedures are within compliance of professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements
  • Other related job duties as required
