Description:

St. Thomas More Preschool is looking for a dedicated and joyful administrative assistant! We are searching for candidates whose faith and relationship with Jesus Christ is the driving principle in their life and who teach and act in accordance with the morals and values of the Catholic Church.


Candidates must:


· Have the ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.

· Possess strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail.

· Exhibit strong communication skills; written and verbal.

· Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills; positive and flexible.

· Have strong computer skills and ability to learn all new programs.


Requirements:

Responsibilities:


· Assist the teacher in preparation and distribution of sign-in sheets, daily count form, etc. and managing the main doors to the preschool.

· Registration - Coordinate annual registration procedures and materials and perform appropriate record keeping.

· Student Files - Organize, maintain, and update files as necessary including health and immunization records, file injury reports and evaluation records. Update and distribute teachers’ forms.

· Substitutes – Prepare substitute teacher list.

· Answer telephone direct calls/monitor electronic doors/safety; maintain door codes working closely with the IT department. Update door opening and closings for IT.

· Immunization Files – Record and keep records up to date, file immunization report to Health Department; take immunization class when expired.


Part Time: 29 hours / week *
