Job Description Accounts Payable Manager Cincinnati, Ohio, northeast Base Salary: up to $100K The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements. This role manages the AP team, maintains strong internal controls, and works closely with finance and operational leaders to improve processes and ensure compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable department.

Supervise, mentor, and develop Accounts Payable staff. Oversee invoice processing, payment approvals, vendor setup, and payment execution. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, check runs, ACH, and wire payments.

Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger and assist with month-end and year-end close activities. Resolve vendor discrepancies and maintain positive vendor relationships. Monitor AP aging reports and ensure compliance with payment terms.

Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Identify opportunities to improve AP processes, increase efficiency, and implement best practices. Support audits by providing requested documentation and responding to inquiries.

Collaborate with accounting, procurement, and other departments to streamline workflows. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience, including supervisory or management experience.

Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and internal controls. Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Experience leading process improvements or AP automation initiatives. Strong leadership and team development abilities.
