Accounts Payable Supervisor

Gulfstream Staffing has partnered with a Long-Island based Bariatric Organization that is experiencing a rapid growth phase. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Accounts Payable Supervisor opportunity near Roselyn Heights, NY. This organization has a leadership team of visionaries among the best in the business and a focus on a commitment to quality service to its patients. The Accounts Payable Supervisor will ensure that the department operates smoothly, maintaining accurate and complete records regarding payments to suppliers and employees. This position will serve as a liaison between the organization and external vendors.

Position: Accounts Payable Supervisor

Location: Roselyn Heights, NY

Accounts Payable Supervisor Duties:

  • Manage the day-to-day functions of the Accounts Payable department.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices and professional response to vendor payment inquiries.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete vendor records as well as carry out reconciliation, payment, and dispute resolution with vendors.
  • Effectively drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, and vendor service.
  • Audit work of AP staff to maintain efficiency and accuracy.

Accounts Payable Supervisor Qualifications:

  • BA in Accounting, Finance, Management or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years – AP management experience
  • 3+ years – AP experience
  • Experience within healthcare industry preferred
