Job description

Billing Specialist | Franklin, TN (Fully Onsite)
Soni is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team in Franklin, TN. This role is responsible for accurate and timely invoicing, billing reconciliations, rate verification, manifest creation, and resolving billing discrepancies across multiple divisions.
This is a fully onsite position and requires working in the Franklin, TN office five days per week.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, process, and distribute invoices accurately and on schedule.
  • Perform billing reconciliations and resolve discrepancies or disputes.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Pricing, Credit, and Collections teams to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Verify AP/AR information and close out customer loads as needed.
  • Maintain billing records, reports, and customer documentation.
  • Respond to internal and external billing inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Assist with audits, reporting, SOP updates, and special projects.

Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of billing experience, ideally in transportation, logistics, or shared services.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems preferred (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Adena, 3GTMS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work onsite in Franklin, TN five days a week is required.

Compensation: $50,000 - $52,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
