The Account Planning Manager is a trusted advisor among our teams and external customer partners, driving the forecast signal to support brand success. You will work with sales, category inventory management, merchants, and external account partners to lead successful inventory investments. You will report to the Director of Wholesale Planning.
About the Job
  • Work in partnership with sales, merchants, and wholesale customer to build and manage bottoms-up sales and inventory plans to deliver total line productivity, shaping financial and inventory decisions.
  • Build monthly forecast, identify trends and opportunities to maximize growth and mitigate risk.
  • In addition to primary ownership for a segment of the business, you will act in oversight capacity regarding planning for the wholesale customer.
  • Facilitate, develop, and implement action plans to grow the business forward through flow of information and action across teams.
  • Conduct quantitative analysis to improve productivity, respond to trends, identify outliers and initiate response.
  • Lead monthly plan reviews highlighting the elements driving risk and opportunity to leadership with support from sales, merchants, and inventory management team.

About You
  • Bachelor's Degree (a candidate may substitute 8+ years of combined college education and work experience for a degree)
  • Minimum 5 years of planning experience including 2+ years supervisory experience
  • High proficiency with Excel (can perform complex functions).
  • Skillful in data visualization and storytelling to present ideas, interpret meaningful themes from quantitative data.
  • Experience planning across multiple seasons, signaling and partnering on risks/ opportunities with partners.
  • Desire to grow as a people leader and collaborative partner in the organization and with important customers.

This is a hybrid work schedule based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. We expect you in office 3 days per week, typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on our needs.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $113,000 - $155,000 per year We may pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. We will base the amount an employee will earn within the salary range on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and our needs.
