Job description

Account Manager, WineSuite
Wine and spirits retailers across the United States run their stores on our software: point of sale, inventory, purchasing, e-commerce, and reporting, all built specifically for their industry. As an Account Manager, you own the relationship with the retailers already running on WinePOS and WineCommerce: keeping their accounts healthy, spotting where their needs have grown, and selling the hardware, software, and features that help their business run better.
This is a relationship-driven B2B sales role for a self-starter who is as comfortable building trust over the phone and emails as they are closing a demo-driven expansion deal. You will report to the VP of Sales and Marketing.
What you'll do
  • Own the relationship. Maintain and grow your book of existing accounts through regular contact schedules and attentive account management, so customers stay happy and stay with us.
  • Know your customers. Keep an in-depth understanding of your clients' needs, industry trends, and the competition, and stay current on every WinePOS and WineCommerce product and technology.
  • Grow the base. Work your accounts in ranked order, uncover opportunities to add hardware or software to their existing systems, and close the sale.
  • Generate leads. Request new leads from your current customers and pass them to outside sales through the CRM lead process.
  • Keep data clean. Collect and update customer information to keep the CRM database accurate and useful.
  • Run compelling expansion demos. Set up and run product demos as needed to educate your book of business.
  • Set up a clean handoff. Capture the core account details the Implementation Team needs to take it from there.

What we're looking for
  • A track record in account management, inside sales, or customer success, ideally with software or SaaS.
  • Strong presentation and negotiating skills, and the ability to explain solutions clearly in both formal and informal settings.
  • Strong organization and time management, with the discipline to work a book of accounts consistently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Results-driven and self-motivated, with genuine integrity and a determination to close.
  • Someone who builds real rapport with all kinds of people and stays composed under pressure.

What will set you apart
  • Experience selling or supporting POS and/or e-commerce solutions.
  • Experience in the wine, spirits, or wider liquor industry.
  • Training in a structured sales methodology such as Sandler, SPIN, MEDDPICC, or Challenger.

Compensation and benefits
  • Account Managers are paid a competitive base salary plus commissions based on monthly sales.
  • Health, Dental, and Supplemental Insurance.
  • Paid time off and vacation.

Work arrangement: Remote-first within the United States or Canada, with occasional on-site presence at our New Jersey office for events and training.
