We are seeking a highly organized and motivated sales professional to support the team in aftermarket activities, including maintaining an existing book of business and driving new customer development within a defined territory.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day:

  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships while identifying opportunities to increase customer loyalty and service penetration.
  • Identify opportunities to sell parts, planned maintenance agreements, repairs, batteries, tires, operator training, fleet optimization solutions, and other aftermarket products and services.
  • Demonstrate success in prospecting and developing new customer opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to maximize customer retention, account growth, and new business development.
  • Conduct all business with honesty, integrity and professionalism, while building and maintaining strong relationships with professional buyers.
  • Perform regular customer-facing visits, meetings, and interactions within the assigned territory to support relationship development, identify customer needs, and promote aftermarket solutions.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Company products and competitive offerings to effectively specify, recommend and sell aftermarket products supporting material handling equipment.
  • Meet established sales, customer retention, and business development objectives.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, activities, opportunities, and communications within HubSpot CRM, including entering and updating customer data in a timely manner.
  • Foster positive, collaborative working relationships with internal teams.
  • Communicate customer needs and equipment opportunities to the appropriate departments while identifying solutions that align with the customer's best interests.
  • Communicate and follow up on all service department estimates in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, the ability to maintain a good driving record, and valid car insurance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of outside sales, account management, or customer relationship experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Results driven with strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
  • Knowledge of software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM databases.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position is primarily performed in an office setting and involves prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.   • Regular travel within an assigned territory is required; the ability to operate a motor vehicle is necessary for this role.
