Generally, managers earn higher salaries than supervisors because they have broader responsibilities, oversee multiple teams or departments, and often require more experience or advanced skills. In the context of a third shift supervisor role, managers typically have additional decision-making authority and strategic duties that contribute to higher pay. However, pay can vary based on industry, company size, and geographic location.
