THE OPPORTUNITY

The Record Co. seeks an Executive Director to lead and help shape our organization's future. The ideal candidate must have proven business development skills and be an accomplished strategist, fundraiser, and partnership-builder. The candidate must also develop, implement, and manage a strategic plan for institutional growth and impact.

The Record Co. (TRC) is a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to making space for Boston’s music makers. Through affordable music workspace and professional development opportunities, TRC aims to remove the technical and social barriers between music makers and their creative visions. TRC envisions a city where everyone can make and enjoy music, where it's as easy to get together and create as it is to meet and play games in a park or connect and learn in a public library.

The incoming Executive Director will have the exciting opportunity to spearhead The Record Co.'s growth and expansion. This will involve developing and implementing a sustainable funding strategy to support the organization's development plans, expanding community partnerships and programs to better serve aspiring musicians and producers in underserved areas of Boston, enhancing marketing and outreach efforts to raise awareness of the mission and attract new supporters, and building a strong, diverse, and inclusive team to drive the organization's success.

This is a salaried Full-Time position with benefits. The Executive Director position is a full-time, exempt role with a salary range of $100,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience. The Record Co. offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
