Job Summary:
As a Private Events Manager at NPK Hospitality, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of private events hosted by our establishments. This role requires meticulous planning, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure the seamless execution of events, ranging from weddings and corporate functions to private parties and special celebrations. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, coordinate with various departments within the company, and manage a team to deliver exceptional service and memorable experiences for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients interested in hosting private events, ensuring prompt and professional communication at all times.
  • Provide personalized recommendations and guidance to clients, including menu selection, event layout, and additional services.
  • Oversee event setup, including decor, seating arrangements, and audiovisual equipment, to create the desired ambiance and atmosphere.
  • Monitor expenses throughout the planning process, negotiating favorable terms with vendors and suppliers to maximize profitability while maintaining service quality.
  • Provide regular financial updates to clients and management, highlighting any deviations from the budget and proposing solutions as needed.
  • Assign duties and responsibilities to team members, providing clear instructions and guidance to ensure efficient execution of tasks.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement among staff members.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback from clients and guests, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and service throughout the event planning and execution process, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in event planning and management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance management.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
