Where do you come into the picture?

At the core of Nium is a powerful platform, an extensive network and a portfolio of APIs, all of which combine to accelerate your growth as a global business.

We are on a journey to enable hyper-scale growth for our customers by providing an increasing number of APIs and capabilities to developers worldwide, in new and innovative ways. As the Content Strategy and Design lead on the Developer Platform and Experience product team, you will create momentum and drive adoption of Nium's Open Platform by taking full ownership of the of the developer content strategy and design for all of Nium's Products and APIs.

What will a day at Nium look like?

As the Head of Developer Content Strategy and Design, you will:

• Be the face and voice of Nium for the developer community globally for all developer facing content including technical content positioning of products and APIs
• Work alongside the Portal and Platform leads to deliver a delightful integration experience to our clients and other 3rd party developers enabled via APIs, SDKs, developer sandbox, libraries, sample code and other popular options in the developer toolkit
• Create easy-to-understand and accurate Product and API documentation, developer guides, use cases and solutions, blogs, tutorials and webinars. In order to accomplish that objective, you will work with internal teams (product, engineering, marketing and communications) to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and consequent developer needs
• Lead the development and execution of the content strategy for developer communication and outreach across various channels (web/email/messaging/forums/chat/blogs etc.) in partnership with the Marketing and Communications team
• Build and lead a team of content writers responsible for producing both business and technical content for rapidly evolving API based products
• Manage complex documentation projects with a focus on maintaining high standards of clarity, consistency, accuracy and timelines

Requirements

Must have Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in high-scale environment as a developer of technical content and/or developer evangelism/developer relations
• A deep passion and empathy for developers, basic understanding of web development and API, and the curiosity to learn new technologies
• Adept at communicating technically complicated topics simply and elegantly
• Prior experience managing a team of content writers for technical products built for global use
• A combination of creative and analytical skills and a commitment to quality, accuracy, and consistency, including adherence to brand and technical standards
• Track record of supporting and enabling developers of all types to produce amazing products and services for their end users
• Result oriented- ability to find solutions to difficult problems quickly and effectively

Nice to have requirements

• Experience in the payments or fintech domains; familiar with the payments, cards, wallets, BaaS, digital commerce, fintech
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and have experience with writing technical documentation or tutorials for a developer audience
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, dynamic environment and support fellow team members in the achievement of their goals
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects at various stages of product development simultaneously
