Flight Dispatcher

he Flight Dispatcher is responsible for performing duties under FAR Part 135 in a safe and effective manner while holding operational control under ONEflight’ s operational control system. This includes fulfilling flight requests, scheduling, and assigning aircraft.

The primary focus of the department is to ensure that all flights are operated in compliance with Company policy, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and to provide a high level of customer service to clients and flight crews in support of their trips each day.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned as required by management)

· Inform FBO of aircraft arrival and departures.

· Ensure all ground handling, deicing, fuel, landing/departure slots, and landing/overfly permits are in order before releasing a flight.

· Coordinate the FBO, fuel, and flight planning when dealing with weather delays and re-routes.

· Advise appropriate personnel of potential/actual delays and conditions affecting safety of flight.

· Track all aircraft.

· Track crew duty times for Federal regulations.

· Vet all personnel through TFFSP (TSA).

· Comply with all Federal Aviation regulations for crew pairings, weather alternates, and NOTAMS.

· Identify, anticipate, and take corrective action to minimize potential/actual delays due to scheduling operations, crew legality, and maintenance issues.

· Schedules and assigns mission(s) to specific company aircraft.

· Ensures that all aircraft that are assigned for use on charter flights are listed in Operations Specification D085 and all aircraft are airworthy under ONEflight aircraft maintenance program.

· Examines performance factors, when necessary, prior to developing a flight release for a specific mission. These factors should include but not be limited to such considerations as aircraft weight & balance, runway required, climb gradients, etc.

· Maintains an accurate record of pilot flight and duty times to show compliance with the applicable sections of FAR 135.

· Provides all crewmembers with a “Flight Release” in accordance with ONEflight Operational Control Program.

· Provides an exemplary level of customer service to aircraft clients and owners, ensuring the customer experience meets and exceeds customer expectations.

· Provides support services for crew and passengers traveling aboard company aircraft, including flight following with flight crewmembers.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Required

• Minimum of three or more years of Part 135 experience.
• FAA Dispatcher License.
• Knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Able to work as a part of a team in a high stress, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all cases regarding client information and travel schedule.
• Knowledge of aircraft scheduling principles and aircraft trip planning resources including knowledge of FAA regulations, airport information, resources available for trip planning, aircraft and trip support, and weather monitoring.
• Highly motivated and organized.
• Strong computer proficiency.
• No violations of FAA/DOT regulations within the last five (7) years.
• Possess the ability to read, write, and speak English.

Highly Desirable

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• International operations experience.

Pay: $84,000.00 per year
