Summary


Serves as a member of the Executive Team.  Responsible for the management and oversight of all Program Directors, grant compliance and activities, and overall functions of programs.  Defines and executes program strategies in collaboration with senior management and program directors.   Ensures implementation and on time delivery of strategic priorities, contract deliverables, program services and reporting. 


Duties and Responsibilities


·         Presides over all program facets from contact compliance to implementation of direct services in accordance with INPEACE vision and mission.

·         Provides supervision and direction to Program Directors and Managers.

·         Responsible for the development, establishment and implementation of programmatic structural design and systems to ensure smooth and effective operations for existing programs and new initiatives. 

·         Works with Program Directors to ensure that programming incorporates parent and family voice.

·         Works with Program Directors to develop and maintain appropriate grant tracking and reporting.

·         Ensures Program Directors develop and implement annual program plans consistent with conceptual direction of INPEACE mission, logical models, and requirement of contract terms.

·         Works with Program Directors to ensure funds are properly expended and accounted for.

·         Ensures that all programs have complete and accurate reporting for all funding sources in accordance with contract of scope and budget.

·         Actively participates as a member of the grant team, engages in grant planning and development of grant materials for submission. 

·         Responsible for leading the writing of grants as delegated by CEO.

·         Conduct annual performance reviews of assigned staff and recommend salary merit adjustments.


Minimum Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field

·         Experience in program administration, including grant management

·         Capacity to coordinate efforts involving various projects and multiple players.

·         Ability to work collaboratively with management staff and community members.

·         Knowledge of the state and other foundations

·         Interact and cooperate effectively with diverse constituencies.

·         Demonstrates a keen ability to build collaborative relationships, both internally and in the community.

·         Innovative, resourceful, and action oriented.

·         Excellent planning, organization, coordination skills, ability to motivate people.

·         Ability to work a flexible schedule to include occasional evenings and weekends.

·         Excellent writing and verbal skills required to prepare clear and concise reports and to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences.

·         Ability to analyze problems, develop effective solutions and resolve problems within Hawaiian cultural context.

·         Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external individuals, groups, organizations, and community agencies.

·         Proven skill in working with committees/groups and facilitating meetings.

·         Ability to work independently, detail-oriented, flexible, and ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.

·         Ability to work under pressure.

·         Proficient with programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Knowledge of databases, preferred.

·         Knowledge and sensitivity to the interests and needs of families in Native Hawaiian communities and/or poverty communities
