The Gage is currently seeking a motivated Pastry Sous Chef to join our team. The Sous Chef will be an integral part of our Back of House leadership team and will execute culinary and operational tasks upholding our commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction.

- You must have the ability to lift fifty pounds
- You must have the ability to stand for long periods eight plus hours at a time
- You have Previous experience with cakes, breakfast pastries, breads, plated desserts and understand the importance of quality.
- You have the ability to relay par levels of products both finished and raw to Executive Pastry Chef, Executive Chef and other Sous Chefs for ordering purposes
- You Have the ability to work independently with little to no supervision
- You have the ability to quickly and concisely express any problems to Kitchen Management in the absence of the Executive Pastry Chef and Executive Chef.
- You must have the ability to create specials as well as collaborate on new menu items

Required Education, Experience and Documentation:
- 1+ year management experience in a semi fine-dining, high volume setting
- ServSafe Food Handlers Certificate
- Ability to fluently speak, write, and read the English language as well as have a general knowledge of the spanish language.
