HTI - Technical Sales Engineer

Expectation
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical expertise and sales. The Technical Sales Engineer oversees the activities related to the sales and licensing of all HTI technologies, with an emphasis on the HCAT Technology.
Daily interaction with the teams involved in commercial activities is required. This includes Technical Services, Engineering, Finance, Legal Counsel, Supply Chain, and 3rd party suppliers.
This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Primary Responsibilities
HCAT Sales
- Defines key targets, ensures annual sales budget (revenues and gross margin)
- Define re-load opportunities, with regular updates of overall market mapping
- Builds profitable customer relationships with the assigned customers
- Maintain customer records per HTI guidelines
- Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitive actions and customer base
- Identifying new sales opportunities and expanding existing territories. You’ll actively seek out potential clients and explore untapped markets.
- Preparing and presenting commercial proposals to prospective clients
- Organize and participate in sales and technical conferences
- Client/supplier facing opportunities will necessitate up to 15% travel
HCAT Production Management
- Create product demand plan in forecasting system
- Production planning and logistics management
- Manage SAP activities, coordinate with Supply Chain and 3rd party suppliers.
Technical & Behavioral Requirements
Technical
- 3-5 years experience in industrial operations, catalytic processes and/or refining
- Knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP system) and Customer Relation Management (CRM)
- Demonstrated ability in areas of time management/organizational skills
- Ability to manage proprietary and confidential information

Required Competencies
- BS Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in catalysis or refining technologies
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Experience in customer facing role preferred
- Technical sales experience strongly preferred

- Assist in the continual improvement of an effective Integrated Management System complying with the requirements of ISO 45001:2018

- Report any and all environmental concerns or problems to your manager
- Maintain awareness, proactively participate and support all HTI policies for environmental protection
- Assist in the continual improvement of an effective Integrated Management System complying with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015
- Assist in achieving Business Unit, Regional and Global Environmental Management Program goals and objectives
