Director of Clinical Services

Overview:

The Director of Clinical Services (DCS) will supervise the case management staff, Counseling Interns and Social Work Interns. The DCS will oversee the client services operations of the agency. The Director of Clinical Services will provide case management to clients in immediate crisis.

Duties:

Supervise the day-to-day operations of staff, including job duties, absences, scheduling, performance appraisals, and corrective action.

Manage the Case Management staff by supervising weekly case management staffing to discuss case planning and case reviews.

Provide clinical supervision to the case management staff and Social Work Interns.

Provide consultation on clients with complex needs.

Stay informed on rules and regulations for federal housing grants.

Ensure staff accurately input data on services in HMIS.

Manages continuous quality improvement by monitoring client and housing paper files and ensuring files are scanned into FileHold for backup purposes.

Provide case management and counseling services to clients.

Ensure that staff receive the appropriate training required to perform their job duties.

Coordinate the Family Advocacy Program.

Comply with all federal and state laws governing the work of the agency, as well as the regulations of the grants and other funding sources associated with job duties.

Appropriately respond to requests in a timely and professional manner

Serve as a member of the AIDS Athens team; treating other team members with respect and dignity while working together to enhance the services we provide.

Provide excellent customer service.

Execute job functions, reports, paperwork, and other associated duties in a timely manner.

As with all employees, other duties will be assigned at the discretion of supervisors and the Executive Director.

Reporting Structure:

The Director of Clinical Services reports directly to the Executive Director of AIDS Athens.

Benefits:

We pay 100% of the cost of benefits for the employee (medical/dental/vision/life/LTD/STD). We will match up to 4% of your salary for a 401K. We offer 11 paid holidays, two of which (Columbus Day and Veterans Day) are personal days that are usable at your discretion and paid time off. Paid time off accrues at the rate of 7.38 hours per pay period for your first year, then increases based on your tenure with the company.

Qualification: Candidate must have at least a Master's Degree from an accredited educational institution in Social Work and an active LCSW LPC, LMFT or Psychologist license in the state of Georgia. The candidate must also have at least 2 years of related experience working with clients and their families, case management, community based services and Individual Service Plans.
