We are a multi faceted business looking for an Office Assistant. This candidate will be assisting management with many aspects of the day to day business operations. The ideal candidate is an ambitious quick learner who is motivated, efficient and reliable. Willing to train a motivated candidate. Lack of experience does not necessarily exclude candidates with a Can Do attitude looking to learn new skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- General office duties. Including: Filing, faxing, scanning, email correspondence, document creation, etc.
- P.O. Box mail collection and processing
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Oversee construction and renovation projects. Including: Scheduling, establishing utilities services, permit applications if necessary, etc.
- Engage with tenants of occupied properties to collect rent and manage maintenance requests.
- Act as point of contact for maintenance, contractors and utility company personnel.
- Coordinate material purchases and transport of goods as needed.
- Efficiently adhere to additional tasks administered by Employer.
Qualifications
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time in accordance with needs
- Ability to expedite tasks within time constraints when applicable
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge of Quickbooks, construction and dispatching is helpful but not required
Pay Rate: $13 - $18 Per Hr. ** Based on experience **
