Provide clerical support to administrative assistant and department faculty

Department: History

Location: Lippman Hall

Supervisor's name: Bella Rodriguez

Hours/Shifts Available: M-F 8:30-4:30

Rate of Pay: $9.70/hr

Number of Positions available: 2

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide clerical support to administrative assistant and department faculty

  • Assist with copying, scanning, receiving and sorting mail

  • Department Marketing: help create social media posts and marketing materials to advertise department courses/events and post materials around campus

  • Answer questions from office visitors

  • Conduct tasks in a timely and efficient manner with and without supervision

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google applications

  • Knowledge of Canva or Adobe Express (or other applications) to create social media posts and flyers

  • Communication skills

  • Adaptability to changing demands based on office traffic
