Job Title: Organizational Change Management Lead | OCM Lead
Location: Hybrid – Mostly remote with occasional travel to Chicago
Period: 8-week assessment, then continued support through implementation
Hours/Week: 40 hours
Rate: $120/hour based on experience
Scope of Services:
The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead will be instrumental in driving change initiatives in support of a Workday implementation for a client operating in the medical manufacturing industry. This role entails developing a comprehensive change strategy and plan, including resource estimates based on thorough information gathering. The OCM Lead will oversee an 8-week assessment phase, conducting initial change impact assessments and stakeholder analyses, followed by ongoing support throughout the implementation of phase 2 of the program.
Role, Responsibilities, and Deliverables:
- Lead the assessment of the scope of change and conduct initial change impact assessments and stakeholder analyses.
- Develop an overall change strategy and plan, ensuring alignment with the Workday implementation objectives.
- Provide resource estimates based on comprehensive information gathering and analysis.
- Support the implementation of phase 2 of the Workday program, ensuring smooth transition and adoption of changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive organizational alignment and readiness for change.
- Communicate change initiatives effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management strategies and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in change management, with a focus on supporting Workday implementations.
- Proven track record of leading organizational transformation initiatives in complex environments.
- Experience in medical device manufacturing, warehousing, and general manufacturing industries preferred.
- Big 4 consulting firm experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
