Job Title: Account Executive

Position Description:

We are looking for an Account Executive to deliver high-quality work product and results for our clients. The Account Executive’s role is to work on client campaigns within the structure of a client team and will typically handle four or five different client campaigns simultaneously. The Account Executive will report directly to the Account Manager.

Responsibilities include developing integrated communications plans, writing and pitching press releases to place media stories, and running social media campaigns. You will also work on business to business and business to consumer campaigns. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Media Placement, Digital Media, and Creative Development departments) to improve the entire client experience. This position may require occasional travel.

Qualifications:

· Proven work experience as an Account Executive, Account Coordinator, or relevant role

· Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization

· Solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Powerpoint and Excel)

· Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs

· Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail

· Excellent interpersonal, listening, and presentation abilities

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· BA/BS degree in Communications, Political Science, English, or relevant field

Responsibilities:

• Write press releases, news stories, articles, case studies and product pieces
• Pitch press releases and feature ideas by phone or email to national, regional and trade journalists, across print, broadcast and online, to interest them in covering our clients’ stories
• Respond to phone calls and emails from journalists
• Arrange interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists for clients’ spokespeople - in person or over the phone - and facilitate these meetings where appropriate
• Monitor media coverage and report results to the wider team and clients
• Attend client events and industry conferences
• Handle clients’ social media accounts such as their Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn page
• Deliver analytics reports on social media, reporting on traffic, engagement and follower figures
• Brainstorm fresh ideas for communications campaigns

· Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives

· Prepare reports on account status

· Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

Location: Imprenta’s Los Angeles office.

Salary Range: Salary is $45,600 - $65,000 annually, plus performance bonuses. Commensurate with experience.
