Cash Application Specialist

RefrigiWear is looking for an experienced Cash Application Specialist!

The Cash Application Specialist role will be a part of the Finance Department and will support the Credit & Collections Manager in the cash application process.

This position requires someone that is excited to be part of a high functioning team, has the desire to learn and own the collections process, and is experienced working soft collections in a high transaction environment. The candidate must be comfortable in a changing, results-oriented organization. S/he must possess a proficiency working within an ERP system (NetSuite experience highly desired). Finally, the candidate must be comfortable working closely and cooperatively with other departments within the organization. The position will prove to be a challenging, rewarding, and good opportunity with growth potential for the individual who possesses the requisite skills and attributes.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Act as the company's point of contact for Customer cash application.
• Demonstrate soft collections by providing helpful and courteous customer service throughout the collections process while achieving desired results.
• Identify and update appropriate Customer contact information within NetSuite.
• Manage all aspects of cash applications including but not limited to:
  • Lockbox payments
  • ACH/Wire
  • Checks
• Process and apply credit card payments.
• Promptly respond to customer invoice inquiries
• Review Customer web portals for payment status and to resolve billing issues.
• Research and work with customers to resolve payment discrepancies.

Cross train with the Accounts Receivable team to assist and provide back up as needed.

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years in Cash Application experience, distribution/manufacturing company preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and the ability to quickly learn ERP systems.
• NetSuite experience preferred.
• Associate degree is a plus.
